Eric J. Mausner, Esq. is an attorney at The Whitehead Law Firm where he focuses his practice on mass torts, class actions, and personal injury matters. Prior to joining the firm, Eric worked at a prominent plaintiff law firm in Miami, FL that specializes in catastrophic injury and wrongful death matters. Eric also represented members of various labor unions in railroad lawsuits under the Federal Employers’ Liability Act (FELA). Eric previously served as an Assistant State Attorney in the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office where he investigated and prosecuted hundreds of violent crimes including attempted homicides, sex crimes, robbery, narcotics trafficking and DUIs. Eric served as both first and second chair prosecutor from jury selection through verdict in numerous jury trials gaining extensive litigation and courtroom experience.
Before and during law school, Eric worked at both the New York County District Attorney’s Office and the King’s County District Attorney’s Office assisting New York City prosecutors in all stages of criminal litigation. While in law school Eric interned for Judge Judy Harris Kluger, former Chief of Policy and Planning for New York State Courts. While living in Washington D.C. Eric worked for a congressional relations firm and a campaign finance & technology firm. Eric also interned on Capitol Hill in the offices of Congressman Rush Holt (NJ) and Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (FL).
Having served the community extensively for nearly a decade, Eric knows firsthand the importance of fighting for victims and is proud to be part of the Whitehead Law team representing people who have been seriously injured by dangerous pharmaceuticals, defective products and medical devices, and the negligent actions of others.
A native of New Jersey and a third generation lawyer, Eric earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and a minor in classical humanities from The George Washington University, and his Juris Doctor from New York Law School. Eric lives in Miami, Florida and is admitted to practice law in Florida, New Jersey, and Washington, D.C
